I'm going to Philippines's Dumaguete today at 12am~!!! :D

Really excited and I have a good feeling about this trip because the people going are awesome and I really feel like I would take away a lot from this volunteer trip. (:

I won't be blogging for a whole 2 weeks.

When I am back, I promise tons of photos!! (:

Haiti Fundraising.

Something I did near my exam period. :D

It was kind of rush since I didn't think it would take the administration this long to process my proposal. I wasn't sure if it would go well since it was completely self-initiated so I could only publicize it through my own network.

Thankfully, it was pretty successful in the end despite the limited publicity. (:

There were really many kind heart people who really cares for the people affected by the earthquake. It was amazing to see people that I don't even know walk pass, see the sign, stop in their tracks and donate very very generously.

It was one of those moments that prove that Singaporeans and Singapore Youths do care and have hearts.

Thank you everyone who donated! The money has been donated to Red Cross already. (: School has the receipts so if you want to confirm your money went to Red Cross, ask SDAR. (:

I have never really learnt to do hand bouquets so doing this was really really hard and the house was a mess! :D

It was fun nonetheless. (:

It's amusing, ridiculous and sad when people say they don't like politics but nevertheless participate in gossip session or bitching session.

Cacio e Pepe

Upper Paya Lebar at 4/6 Rochdale Road, Singapore 535817.

It was very very hard to find this Italian place. :D It's located in such a remote area that Sheila got afraid when we were walking there.

"Funghi
Creamy rich mushroom bisque."

Mushroom soup. It's a little salty. Best with bread. (:

"Ravioli al Granchio
Stuffed pasta with crustaceous tossed with crabmeat, crayfish, prawns in a light tomato sauce."

Really really delicious!!! It is a very well-balanced dish where every taste blends together and makes you very satisfied.

"Pizza Diavola
Tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, hot spicy salami and cherry tomato."

The thin crust and woody, earthy aroma gives this seeming simple pizza an amazing and addictive taste.

Irresistibly oozing soft centered chocolate cake served with vanilla ice cream."

They forgot to put the icing on the lava cake. :D

They knew that it was my birthday so they wrote a greeting for me on the plate with an icing and place a candle on the cake. (: Isn't that sweet?

Surprisingly scrumptious.

Usually lava cakes' chocolate centers are burnt and has that burnt taste. I was expecting this to have a burnt taste as well but I was completely wrong. Not only was it well-cooked, the center is gooey and the taste is concentrated.

A wonderfully crafted warm dessert that was paired with a soft cold vanilla ice cream that is very well made, refreshing and not at all milky or odd tasting. Absolutely fantastic. (:

The best lava cake I have ever eaten!

They opened a bottle of dry and bubbly Prosecco to help celebrate my birthday. I am not a fan of gas-y stuff but I drank them both since it was extremely darling of them. (:

I had so much fun there! The staff were really respectful, friendly, warm and darling! There was such a homely atmosphere that it feels like you are having dinner at a friends' place.

I'm definitely going to go back there again! (:
